Thanks, Bruce. This is the first year I've had this tomato and I love the taste. Planting this one again next year. It would do for 4 burgers at least.
-
This was a quick dinner, haddock, fries and fresh tomatoes. It is that time of year around here, starting to clean out the garden. These are some of today's squash pickings. I grabbed a quick shot of a poppy that was blowing in the wind at my friend's yesterday. Needed to make some tartar sauce for dinner. My tomatoes are just starting to ripen, these slices came from a tomato that weighed almost 1 pound. Fish on the KK. Plated.

I bet your neighbour is happy you bought the KK.
-
I bet the "tenting accommodations" are some of the best you've ever had.:) Great way to think about it.

I agree,Bruce, but I suspect 5698k knows she won't. 5698K, I hear exactly what you are saying.
-
Glad to hear you are all coping CK, and things are working as best as they can in a difficult situation.
-
Yes, Tony, I think it is great, not everyone wants to high pieces of meat if you are only feeding one or two people.
-
Thanks, Wayne, no it was not veal. The butcher shop just cuts up the briskets into small cuts and I knew that the KK wouldn't dry it out so I bought one of the pieces. I am sure if I called ahead I could get a full brisket but I just did a drop in.

Stiles, I always use my stainless steel curly kate. I never cook on a dirty grate, so it is dirty I clean it before the cook. That is it in a nut shell, no magic.
-
I have two feeders out but didn't one single hummingbird, maybe they have all gone south. I will miss watching and hearing them.

Go for it, Aussie, it is tasty stuff.
