  1. "and he says it is easy" I thought great but then I read the recipe . Thanks, dstr. It sounds delicious and I hope to give it a try. :)
  2. CK, it looks delicious and I'll be here next Sun. for installment 2. Great way to serve leftover pulled pork.
  3. dstr, sounds delicious and looks delicious. You know if we had the recipe I bet we could come close to yours.
  4. Dennis, that bacon has my mouth watering, nothing beats bacon done on the KK and adding coffee wood to boot, has to be out of this world.
  5. You sure are, love my carbon steel de Buyer pans, every last one of them.

dj-ia, meatballs on a tooth pick, sounds like a fun and tasty cook to me and you even have your burn in done.
  7. Thank you, Tony. I really appreciate your detailed info. I'll see what I can find.
  8. Hopefully it will speed onto you ASAP
  9. Can you give me any tips on the pump and tubing, were you able to get silicone tubing to fit? Is the tubing size dependent upon the pump or the smoking machine? You can tell I don't know what's what as I don't have the smoking machine yet. I want to be prepared when it arrives. Nothing worse than getting a new tool and not have the accessories to make it work.
  10. Shuler, I had never heard of Huli Huli chicken until you "presented your cook" and I am sure glad you did, thanks:)
  11. You are on the road to recovery.
  12. HalfSmoke, you are going to love that colour.
  13. Glad you had a great visit with your sister and BIL. After the way you treated them I'm sure they will be back for seconds. BTW, those chops and casserole both look delicious. I just about missed that awesome pin wheel cook, delicious.
  14. Did your new smoking machine arrive yet? I'm wondering if there will be a need for the 2 qt casserole if one has the smoking machine.
  15. Tony, I just bet it was tasty, it sure looks great. You have my mouth watering with that corn even if it isn't local I can't tell from here.
  16. Thank you Shuley for presenting the idea. For it is tasty stuff.
  17. I didn't time them just went by colour. I also kept an eye on oil temperature all 3 batches and it never went above 330 F.
  18. I wish you could have gotten the sausages. Fries taste good but not crispy.
  19. Grilled another cheese and jalapeno sausage and some zucchini slices for lunch today, oh yes. and a side of dstr's fries.
  20. dj-ia, that is the least you can do, wait until the person who had done most if not of the unwrapping gets home from work to see the first firing. The KK is absolutely stunning as is the side table, a beautiful combination.
