  1. Thanks, ck & Stiles, those drumsticks were wonderful. I've had that holder for years and it also works for wings.
  2. Marinated 4 chicken drumsticks in Frank's Red Hot Sauce for a few hours before putting them on the grill. Ready for the grill. On the grill. Did baked potato and that was served with a side of squash. Instead of dipping the potato in a saline solution I just dipped a moist potato into the salt. About an hour at 350-375F and the drumsticks are done. The drumsticks were unbelievable moist. I was amazed. 2 more today for dinner. I enjoyed these so much that I'm doing something that I rarely and I mean rarely do and that is I'm doing another batch of drumsticks tomorrow.:) There must be something in the water.;)

  4. CK, you are so right, one male arrived just a few minutes ago and it was at the kitchen window feeder. As usual I heard it before I saw it. Love the flutter of those little wings. All is right with the world now.:)

  6. ck, I need you to pack those little travelling bags for the humming birds and send them on their way. They should have been here yesterday, I have my well stocked feeders out but not one h bird in sight.

  15. You pool is on the critter map. I was thinking the other day about the pool and wondering how it was going. I put my hummingbird feeders out as the first males should show up soon. I put three out and only have one more to go. They come back to the same place as last year to look for the feeder. It's kind of neat.

  22. Brined these 2 chops for a few hours then dressed them for the KK. On the KK @350F until internal temp. was 155F. Cooked. Plated. Look at that moisture. While the KK was coming up to temperature a friend dropped by with some cup cakes that she had made. WOW! I ate this one before putting the chops on the grill. It was absolutely delicious. Now that's a friend.:):):)
  23. CC, those cooks are all fantastic, I'd love to sitting at the table when those were served.
