  1. we'll see when tinyfish gets his but there should be no doubt about it being a show stopper.
  2. First one I cooked at around 500 F and the second one as I recall was around 550-570F and I had the stone in a long time because I did bread before I did the pizza.
  3. 160 g All Purpose Bread Flour 109 g water 2.0 g Bread Machine yeast 3.2 g Olive oil 2.2 g Salt Mix all ingredients together and let sit for about 15 minutes. Knead until dough passed the window pane test. Let double. Stretch out to make a 12 inch pizza.
  4. PRippley, wow is that exciting news:)
  5. I stuffed some casings tonight so I'd have pepperoni for pizza, if I send you come could you make my a pizza please?
  6. Boaco, I can't believe what I'm reading, you order two! I can't wait to see this dynamic duo joined at the hip.
  7. Poochie, your curry dish looks very very tasty.
  8. A feast to behold for sure and little Angie is looking very cute in the big bed with her Mum.
  9. I only used mine once and that's because I just recently got my KK and I do plan to use it often:)
  10. http://www.onegrill.com/ is where I bought mine, make sure you get the one for the Komodo Kamado.
  11. Thanks for all those kind words everyone, makes me smile:) :)
  12. GoFrogs, not one of ckreef's dough recipes. I'll post the recipe later. That is the first time the Night Blooming Cereus has blossomed for me. There is another one coming out tonight. The blossoms starts to open about 6:00 PM and by the next morning at 6 AM it is dead. It was fully opened when I went to bed about 12:30 AM. It is quite amazing.
  13. That is not all that's going on around here, my nite blooming cereus is blossoming tonight for the first time. It is going to be a long nite, started about 7 PM or so and will go until 7AM. Not that I'm staying up for the whole reveal because I'm going on a 2 hour road trip tomorrow morning. Eek! Here it is about 11:00PM
  14. I add pork also, Poochie.
  15. Bosco, lovely ribs. Just wait until you get that KK, things will move up another level, hard to believe but it's true:)
  16. That KK baking stone is something to behold, no fancy arrangements of grills needed, 2 stones, nothing. Just set the stone on the upper grill, no heat deflector, nothing, and bake away. The pizza comes out lovely.
  17. Busy day here, did more sour dough bread. It turned out a little darker than I wanted but it will taste just fine. I had the grill hotter than normal thought I'd see what happened. The good news is that this bread sung to me for quite a few mins. after I took it out of the KK. Pizza up next, this was a cherry tomato with mushrooms and my own bacon, fresh moz and some Monterey Jack. Just coming of the grill. Served.
  18. Bryan, I have a Cabela's 1 HP for big jobs that I want done quickly but for a few pounds I use my Elecktolux Ankarsrum Assistent mixer. It too does an amazing job, actually on everything.
  19. Whatever is your heart's desire and then dip them in dark chocolate, delish:)
  20. I grind my own and haven't bought ground beef for ages. The one thing I'm try to do is not to buy any mechanically tenderized roasts for grinding. Normally the bacteria are on the surface but when they mechanically tenderize they shove those bacteria into the middle of the meat, not exactly desirable.
