  1. I've used that curly kate stainless steel scrubber and then washed it off with hot water and a rub with a cloth. Just wait though I haven't done any of those really messy cooks yet and I haven't let any of the gunk pile up either. My time is coming:) I wonder if these would be a good option providing that none of the links come off and get into the food. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=chainnail+scrubber I just ordered one and should have it next Wed. Stay tuned for the review;)
  2. Tony, I had heard that about the wire brushes but not about the curly kate thing. I cleaned with it and then washed it off under the tap and went over it with a dish cloth. I will be careful:) Thanks.
  3. Poochie, the Cornish Hens looks great. One of these days I'm going to do one or two of them. I've been thinking about it for quite some time.
  4. Tasty looking chicken breasts and the grandkids are bound to be pleased.
  5. Finally I had some corn, I wait for it all year and I can tell from the posts I'm not alone;) Tinyfish, I use a curly stainless steel scrubber;)
  6. Wilbur, that is a very tasty dinner, simple and delicious.
  7. My first of the season, rubbed with oil and place over coals until the sugars caramelize. Then place in a pan with butter, salt and pepper, seal and leave pan on indirect side for 5-10 mins. Plated.
  8. Thanks, everyone:) I've been working on my Out Door Kitchen, deck and sunroom and have been eating leftovers day after day so you can see why I thought this meal was heavenly;) Last night I went to a food truck and ordered fish and chips. The fish was very good but I'm sure they saved every burnt chip from the days cooks and gave them all to me. PJ, I just made an on the fly mixture of Oyster Sauce, Tamari, ketchup and that was too sweet so I added white vinegar. I did like it but now have no idea of the amounts.
  9. Ground a chuck roast to get some ground beef for burgers but since I was out of rolls made burger balls instead. Cooked carrots from the garden and potatoes, mixed in some raw onion, added palm oil and butter and put over direct heat. The meat balls indirect. Meat is done. Dinner is served. and tasted:)
