  1. Did burgers on the KK last evening and turned them into cheeseburgers with chips. Getting dressed. Melted the cheese in the WFO. Plated with chips. Homemade buns but store bought chips. There was one burger leftover and no buns. Decided to have a burger sub for lunch,
  2. Did some chicken drumsticks on the KK, and roasted some previously boiled potatoes. Served with the tail end of the yellow beans for this year and some Egyptian onions.
  3. Speaking of corn on the cob and my stomach that is a bottomless pit for fresh corn on the cob - I need to find out when the next delivery from the farmer is so I can get it as fresh as possible. After 3 days 50% of the sugar in the corn has turned to starch seriously changing the taste and it also makes the corn tougher. From on the stock to pot asap is my motto for corn on the cob.   8. @Tekobo, that duck cook is sounding superb, can't wait to see the grand finish.
  9. I pretty much do the same as tekobo but I use Mason jars, skip the spoon in the jar trick and never tighten the lid after I hear that "click" of the seal. If you tighten after that you can break the seal, in fact you don't even need to leave the rings on. Never had a jar go bad, knock on wood.
  10. Grilled some Chorizo sausages and baked potatoe scallop on the KK. Served with steamed beets and Swiss chard.

  13. It sure looks wonderful and nothing beats fresh from the garden veggies.

  17. Chicken thigh dinner with fresh beets and greens directly from the garden smothered in butter and pepper.

  19. Me too, outside is where I use mine too.
  20. Did some pork back ribs on the KK, 240F all the way for about 5 hours and ever though there was little shrinkage, these ribs were delicious. Served with fresh from the garden beet greens, the first of the season. Plated with rice and greens.
  21. I don't think this really happened. Isn't that the saying around here, no pixs didn't happen.
  22. @Pouchie, you can buy an IR light for better night vision.
