  1. Or maybe a quick blot of the scallops after they come off the salt block. I would think most of the salt flavour would be on the edge.
  2. Thanks, Aussie, that is exactly what you and Dee do to me.
  3. It is fun to do now and again but I too find things a bit salty when cooked on the block. I think if you are a big salt fan it would be right up you alley.
  4. Thanks, Shuley, Sorry your pizza wasn't better.
  5. Before the game started I was thinking the very last thing I wanted to see was the winner decided by a shoot out and we all know what I got.
  6. LOL, I hope you have a small dog.[emoji4]
  7. Follow up to the chicken roll up cook. There was extra pizza dough left so I decided to make a pizza and a calzone, sort of. Actually I made 2 pizzas one smaller than the other then I pulled one side over to the opposite side and sealed the edge then painted the surface with Caesar Dressing and sprinkled Parmesan Cheese. Baked in the oven at 450F for about 10 - 12 mins. Plated. Cut. The crust is quite nice, it is thin and tasty. I just pushed it down and ate it like a burger. Pizza, still uncut.
  8. A feast for all, and it does look deeeeeeelicious.
  9. Thanks, Shuley. I've never had a Costco version, have only seen pixs and thought I'd like to give it a try. Some days are diamonds.
  10. Aussie, that looks really delicious.[emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  11. Thanks everyone, I think I'll have to do this one again.
  12. For the OT period they used 4 players per side instead of the normal 5 players.
  13. Started this cook with some chicken thighs marinated in Frank's Hot Sauce, then cooked on the KK. Stretch out 6 oz of pizza dough into a rectangle and spread some Caesar Dressing on the top. Slice up some of the chicken and mix it with Caesar Salad Dressing, add some chives, crumbled bacon and a few of those previously balsamic roasted garlic mushrooms add to the dough. Roll it up along the short side and pinch the seam but leave the ends open. Brush with Caesar Dressing. Coat with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 425 F until golden and the IT is 165F. Baked. After it cooled for 5-10 mins it was sliced.
  14. There was a period with 4 on 4 and no goals so then they went to 5 players from each team taking turns with a shot at the goalie, turn about and ended with 2 goals for each team so then they went to the next phase, one player from each team turn about and it was at this point the US scored and the Canadians didn't score so that was the end of the game. What a way to end a gold medal game.
  15. I am assuming that there are friends of his coming so I'd cook them all at once.
  16. Congratulations, Jon. What a great hard fought game, it had everything a fan could want. I am exhausted. Only one thing left, Jon you need to send my a personal message with your mailing address. I am taking my empties to the recycle depot today.
  17. Everything is looking extra delicious.
  18. It is Bruce, now it is supposed to start about 11:45 A little earlier than first expected.
  19. Isn't tomorrow going to be a spectacular day for the game viewers.
  20. Just to be fair, Jon, I have enlisted a secret weapon that I may or may not reveal at a later date. Want to change sides, it is not too late yet?
  21. Aussie, that dinner looks and sounds like a winner.
