Bruce Pearson Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 Hi MacKenzie I love the way you post, always great pictures of wonderful food but also pictures of birds and bees animals and things in your garden those are great pictures too keep them coming. I really like that one with the bee in the flower.
MacKenzie Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 Thank you very much Bruce, I love doing it and it's great to know that someone likes looking at the critters.
MacKenzie Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Dinner, grilled patties, fresh veggies right out of the garden just prior to cooking. The potatoes are new and awesome. Things only take a few mins. to cook these days. 2
Syzygies Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 The coffee charcoal is also great for paella. Very responsive to changes in airflow, to moderate the heat. 2
tinyfish Posted August 23, 2016 Report Posted August 23, 2016 That paella looks great. Paella is going to be my challenge cook on the KG site. I was going to do it today but I got delayed gardening.
MacKenzie Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 It is a sad day here in the Maritimes, the end of the yellow bean season. :(:(:( Picked the last of the crop for this year and just had to cook them for dinner along with new potatoes and spicy cheese sausage.
tony b Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Going to make my monthly CostCo run tomorrow and I'll be looking for those yummy sausages, MacKenzie!
MacKenzie Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Leftover KK sausages for lunch. Homemade buns, hot pepper relish, cheese and onions toppings. 1

I hope you find them. Truthfully I can't get enough of them. I have a small stash in my freezer. The last time I was there they only had mild Italian.:(
MacKenzie Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) Sous vide steak for dinner tonight and served with grilled onion, portabella mushrooms, new potatoes and eggplant. The smell sooo nice when they are grilling, just cut them in half leave the skins on and grill for a couple of hours or so. Edited August 26, 2016 by MacKenzie 1
Pequod Posted September 2, 2016 Report Posted September 2, 2016 @churchi-I use a maple butter glaze at the end which tends to crust up the plank, so one use and toss for me.
Aussie Ora Posted September 2, 2016 Report Posted September 2, 2016 Planks are expensive here for what they are anyway I've managed a couple of cooks off one but over them now lolOutback Kamado Bar and Grill
