5" way too big. That is an easy for him to do on his own. Maybe the 32"KK can handle a slightly bigger dial. I'm like Tony, I rotate my dial so 250f is at 12 o'clock.

Not necessary but its the attention to detail that makes a KK a KK. -
What an excellent dinner that was. Is so nice to set it and forget it for six hours and come back to great beef ribs.
