  18. and just to clarify, Jon, is calling the boat a dog and not a person. That is because, Jon is a classy guy.
  19. Yes, I flattened it out and with the olive oil I don't think it will freeze rock hard and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to break off what I want.
  20. I will ask a friend as she knows the person I bought the start plant from so she might be able to find the source of the seeds. I would like to grow it again for sure.
  21. I am anxious to see it back into shipshape, all cleaned up and painted, it will be stunning.
  22. Oh my, alimac, I'd love a bowl of that right now, delicious.
  23. BTW, Tony, I did fry up a couple of leaves when I did my potato and bean breakfast, nice. I'll be doing that again. I wonder how shiso dehydrates, I think I'll find out.
  24. I did another batch of basil yesterday, froze and vacuumed sealed it. I think I will be easily about to break off pieces when I want to use some then reseal the bag. I have used the ice cube trick on other things and not a real fan of it so I'm trying this method.
  25. My Shiso plant had a rough start but has come around. It is the first time I have grown it and hope to do it again next year as I very much like the taste and the appearance.
