  2. I absolutely love fresh sweet corn, I could eat 8 of those cobs right now. When I was much younger I ate 16 cobs and only stopped then because everyone was done and waiting for me to finish. I can't believe I did that.
  3. Speaking of Campfires, I started one tonight during the heat wave we are having. It is in the Turkish grill. Due to the infestation of black flies I am watching it from inside my sunroom.

  16. I've added these two things to my breakfast items. They are from the deck planter and I know I won't be able to eat it all. Just look at the moisture in the radish. The lettuce and radish are only steps and minutes from my kitchen. I have just recently added the shade cloth to provide protection from the sun, there is spinach on the other end.
  17. Love those day lilies. Have you tried a motion sensitive water sprayer to protect things?
  18. It cold and wet up here, 56F or 13C, and it is 9AM and we are supposed to have a heat wave today, I wonder when it's going to start? The warning has been out for a few days now about this big event.

  21. Pequod, that pizza looks sooooo tasty, perfectly done, I'd say. I have not heard of ground tomatoes and don't expect one can locate them in my area, but I could dehydrate some of my tomatoes when they grow and then grind them.
  22. I'd sure like to be doing a taste test of all of those pizzas.
  23. Sous vide smoked pork chops yesterday, today I decided to give them a little sear. Also made a potato salad and picked some greens, radish from the deck planter and almost the last chive flower. Searing. Done. Plated with the goodies. Tasting fine to me.;)
