  1. Thanks, Bruce, and yes those chive blossoms are edible. I have some garlic chives and they have a white blossom and are also edible. They bloom later in the season. As Tony says, they are really pretty.
  2. Sous Vide some pork chops, marinated mushroom in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, oregano, basil and garlic cloves then grilled those on the KK.
  3. I agree it is always fun to see what people from different locations are cooking.
  4. Guess you are going to have to move that bed outside.
  5. Aussie, I would certainly enjoy that dinner right about now.
  6. I bet they did enjoy the thighs, everything looks sooooo delicioius. When my beans are ready I eat them everyday until I've had my fill. It takes about 2 weeks.
  7. I will be watching for this cook.:)
  8. I can't believe that turtle is after that cat.!!!
  9. Welcome to the group, now if you want to stay in the group you do need to take and post lots of arrival photos.

  11. Thanks, everyone. Bruce, I will get some garden pixs and do a post of it. tekobo, I know it would be hard to pass up on a kale smoothie, or would it
  12. My garden work is just about done for a while and I celebrated with a KK rotisserie cook. Cornish hen was on the menu as well as macaroni salad. 1 hour @400F, I was expecting more colour but the Thermpen said it's done. Plated.
  13. You have gotten yourself is a most wonderful experience and just wait until you taste the food.
  14. The bread has cooled enough to slice-
  15. I made a loaf of my sour dough bread this evening. I added some chia seeds and pumpkin seeds. My secret weapon for the cook is - I couldn't find the chain to buy so what to do. I figured that if I covered my dough with this stainless steel bowl that would keep the moisture in for the first 10 mins. of the bake @500F. Lots of oven spring in this bake.
  16. That should be easy for to remember, Dennis.[emoji4] BTW happy belated birthday, Dennis.[emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

  19. Bruce, it sounds like you had a great birthday dinner and day.[emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  20. Bruce has big plans for this day and while I can't be there I'll be there in spirit enjoying every minute of it. He says, "I’m cooking a tri tip this Sunday for my birthday (75) sheeeesh where did the time go? Anyway I’ll be cooking it on my Traeger grill. I bought it a couple years before I got my KKand have never used it, so thought might as well give it a try, even though I kinda feel like a traitor to my beautiful KK. I’ll ask my daughter to make a rhubarb pie as a birthday present lol" I hope your day is a blast.
  21. Jon, I did the same thing. I'd go into my Grandmother's garden and eat rhubarb while standing right beside the patch. Yum yum.
