xraydoc
Used the basket splitter to do some reverse sear prime strip steaks. Cooked at 275'ish, then let 'er rip for reverse sear directly over the coals. Very impressed by how quickly the KK goes nuclear. Starting the reverse sear: Might as well grill some onions once the steaks are done: Can't believe I almost forgot the money shot! I'm in love. @halfsmoke that looks delicious. The steak is done perfectly and I love grilled onions. That looks like a nifty tray you have on your grate for grilling the onions. Do you have some details on it so that I might find one for myself?
Steve M
@xraydoc, I have the same one and purchased it from amazon. It is a Weber product: https://www.amazon.com/Weber-Style-6435-Professional-Grade-Grill/dp/B000WEIIOE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473806834&sr=8-2&keywords=stainless+grill+topper

DennisLinkletter
I started this coffee smoked bacon post but was remiss in posting the post sliced bacon.. The secret I found is to super chill the meat before slicing.. Firms it up and gives much more uniform slices.

MacKenzie
This was too good to pass up and not post. Usually the carrots are among the last veggie that is taken from the garden. We are getting near the end of the growing season so today it was time to pull a carrot. They are sooooooo sweet and moist not at all like the ones we get throughout the winter.

MacKenzie
If everyone keeps posting those delicious looking lamb dinners I may succumb to doing something that I have avoided, lamb. Way to go, Aussie.:)
