You are more than welcome, Bruce.

Thanks, Bruce, my friend made the kimchi so it was very gooooooood. Here is the recipe I used for the pancakes. I changed the oil for cooking and use sesame oil for more flavour. Kimchi Pancakes Kimchijeon made with chopped kimchi Yield: 2-4 servings https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/kimchijeon Ingredients: Kimchi, onion, salt, sugar, flour, vegetable oil. Directions 1. In a bowl, place 1 cup of chopped kimchi, 3 tbs of kimchi juice, 2 tbs chopped onion, ½ ts salt, ½ ts sugar, ½ cup flour (all-purpose flour), and ¼ cup of water and mix it well with a spoon. Heat up a 12 inch non-stick pan over medium high heat and drizzle about 2 tbs grape seed oil. 2. Place the mixture of kimchi pancake batter on the pan and spread it thinly (that is very important) and evenly with a spoon. 3. Cook it for 1 to 1½ minutes until the bottom gets golden brown and crispy. 4. Turn it over with a spatula or flip it. Lower the heat to medium and cook for another 1½ minutes. 5. Turn it over one more time and cook for 30 seconds before transferring it to a serving plate. *tip: Serve it right out of the pan or cool it down and cut it into bite size to serve.

I'd love to have some of those Thanksgiving turkeys but we did that a month ago so I'm stuck with chicken noodle soup. First the egg noodles. Did the thighs first thing. They were marinated in Tabasco Sweet and Sour and a little pepper Baked. All put together and ready to eat.

Looking delicious, Pequod and that gravy will be wonderful too.

SSgt, fantastic looking turkey, beautiful colour.

I'm loving your comment, Tony and right back at you.

Started the day off on a high, kimchi pancakes. Next is just the opposite, Chicken Noodle Soup but first I have to make the egg noodles and cook the chicken on the KK. Stay tuned.:)

Thanks, Tony. I just recently dug my carrots so they are nice and fresh. I'm trying to use them up. Normally I'm not a big fan of carrot soup. It is one of those things when I see it on the menu I think I'll like it but actually never do. So I wasn't expecting much when I made it but fortunately I was pleasantly surprised. That's good because I have about 10 servings of it.

Here is that carrot soup that I promised. I did enjoy it. I found the recipe here - https://www.themediterraneandish.com/roasted-carrot-soup/ I did change the broth from veggie to chichen because that is what I had on hand. The only other change was to use 3 cloves of fresh garlic in stead of 4 cloves.

Looking mighty tasty.

You are doing nothing wrong, The smoke ring being caused by smoke is a myth. Here is a very good article explaining things. https://amazingribs.com/more-technique-and-science/more-cooking-science/mythbusting-smoke-ring-no-smoke-necessary

Busy day around here so it was cheated pizza for supper. The previously made Lebanese Mountain bread was the crust. Topped it off with sauce, semi dehydrated tomatoes( wow those things are sweet), prosciutto, fresh mozza, Parmesan, anise and fennel. Baked. Just before doing the pizza I roasted 3 pounds of carrots. My carrots were so big this year it only took 3 huge carrots to make 3 pounds. These are going to make carrot and ginger soup. More on that tomorrow.

No, I put the db pan on the main grate then added the upper grate with the stone on it. Here is the arrangement and it sits on the main grate which is in the KK. (Not in this pix.)

That is some delicious looking salad, Dee.

Allimac, I'd say you had a pizzarama night, they so look awesome. Aussie, I hear you are having a birthday, sure hope it's a fantastic day for you. That chicken dinner is looking beautiful.

You will get it worked out.[emoji4]

Used my steam disc on this loaf of sourdough, can't wait to cut it to see the crumb and to see how sour it is.

Let's hope this problem is solved for a long time. The worst of it for me besides the time wasted trying this and that is that don't have free shipping from Canada and between the insurance and postage it's about $30 to ship the unit back.
-
I'm glad you are getting more help with the fires, Aussie.
-
Tony, one must grab a nice day when it's available this time of year. Nice looking dinner.

Great point, Tony.[emoji16]

helliger, I had to send the new replacement unit it back too, it didn't work either but the third time was a charm. Knock on wood it keeps on working, it's nice when it works.

Aussie, the pressure is on. Good luck.
