Tony, I sure do like the looks of that dinner.
-
Originally I planned on having Mac & Cheese, spinach and pork tenderloin for dinner today but those darn Xmas elves forgot to put that pork tenderloin that I had thawing on the counter, into the fridge before going to bed. Needless to say it hit the trash when I saw it still on the counter in the morning. After the cheese was smoked I fired up the KK still with cold smoker attached and put in the mac and cheese to bake. While all this was going on I also made some sourdough bread.

TY, Bruce, I agree everything is better with cheese and ever better if it smoked on the KK. For me the old standby for Xmas dinner would have to be a turkey or a nice plump organic chicken and one much collect the dripping for an awesome gravy.

Yes, SSgt93, love it and the tanks seems to last forever.

I bet in the end it was so worth it to suck it up.

Well now you have another. LOL

Let's hope the worst is over, Tony.

Looks great to even a non fish fan.

Tony, meat on a stick, looks and sounds delicious.

If I'm not careful I'm going to turn into a sweet potato. Sous vide pork chop that was soaked in a light salt and sugar brine and some fresh organic spinach were the sides.

Lucky weather break and delicious dinner.

Mine came with this one and I just set the sweet potato on it. I put in about 1.25 C of water which stays just under this insert. You can also use one of these.
-
Jon, I used my Kuhn Rikon, stove top pc.
-
I took Sygyzies' advice and cooked a sweet potatoe in a pressure cooker. I thought I eat half and have the other half tomorrow, but no such luck, it just tasted so good I ate the whole thing. I did put ghee and black pepper on the potatoe. Beets from this summer's garden and KK chicken thighs as sides.

Don’t wait four years like I did...

Benobas, first, welcome, You have brought back memories about when I sent my check to Indonesia. Glad to hear you are fitting right in and soon you'll forget you even have a kitchen stove. -
Jon, I think you might have just cooked your goose, now Tony knows when to book his next trip. Actually, I heard that Tony is going to buy a nice lakeside cottage and plans to be there for the summer.

Bruce, I thought you were just testing me.

Tekobo, dinner is looking very tasty. It looks to me like you stuffed the quail, what did you use?
