  1. Chicken looks awesome. We warned you about moist chicken.[emoji38] Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  2. That should work, I sure hope so.
  3. Great pixs, tinyfish. You must be having lots of fun gardening. How will you store the fig trees over the winter?
  4. Bosco, I use one of those curly kate stainless steel things, you know the ones you are not supposed to use because if you get any of that steel in the food it won't be pretty for whoever devours it. After that's done I just use and old wet dishcloth of rub it clean. If I had really thick gunky stuff I'd use a stiff piece of metal first, whatever I can get my hands on. I think the trick is keep it clean don't let it pile up and bake on. Good luck:) Besides I don't want that black guck on my food.
  5. That is terrible, Tony, I got all excited when I started to read the post. Here is what is left after my cherry tofu smoke. BTW, I used a little flour/water to seal the edge but this time I wiped off the excess as it will burn and not smell soooo nice.:) I don't epect this lump to have much heat value in it, it not very dense. Maybe I'll use it to start my fire.
  6. Oh boy, that sounds exciting, Tony.
  7. Shuley, your burger sure looks tasty and the fact that the kids like it is a huge bonus.
  8. Wow, Aussie, you not only has l aroma you have beautiful colour too, very good eats.
  9. It sure is I use it in my outdoor kitchen to keep the winter weather out.
  10. Thanks, Tony, it is a Red Hot Mexican Chili Cheese.:)
  11. I decided to try out my new baguette brotform today, just used my regular sourdough recipe so I ended up with one baguette that fit the brotform and some leftover dough to make a free standing baguette. Now all I need is some homemade spaghetti and sauce.
  12. For all of you who are dying to try this cook here is the recipe. It obviously is an old photocopy from a cookbook. The only thing I did differently was to smoke the tofu and I left the toasted raw cashews whole.
  13. Thanks, Aussie, you'd never know it was there with all the flavour flavour in that dish.:)
  14. Dennis, I'd love to be at the breakfast table when your bacon is served. It looks soooooo tasty.:) Aussie, beautiful dinner, those drumsticks look delicious.:)
  15. tinyfish, thanks. I think you might be surprised at the flavour of this dish. It has tons of flavour.
  16. tinyfish, if you can figure out a way to get a supply in Canada let me know please.
  17. Tomorrow I'll post the recipe. It is very tasty and anyone afraid of tofu could substitute chicken.[emoji4]
  18. Decided to smoke the tofu for a little extra flavour, used the pot with cherry wood for 1.5 hours at 330F. This is Thai tofu so it has some spices added. After 1.5 hours of smoking- Taste samples. Marinating tofu- Now for the veggies that get added to the sweet and sour stir fry- the mushrooms and the toasted cashews. Add the marinating tofu. Plated.
  19. I love smoking pot, I mean I love my smoking pot. That darn spell and grammar check.
  20. I don't think that would work but what would work is the new steel plate that Dennis is producing. That will sear your steak, your smashed burgers, a Neapolitan pizza, etc. The baking stone, makes great loaded pizza by allowing the top to cook at the same this the bottom cooks and it works great for baking bread, etc. Personally I love that baking stone, it does a fantastic job on things being baked, that is why it is called the "baking stone". I would not be without it.
  21. Dennis, I love your sense of humour, I only wished it applied to Canadians, I'm soooooooooooo jealous that I can't buy it in Canada. No fault of Dennis's, it's our government regulations.
