  1. Sous vide steak for dinner tonight and served with grilled onion, portabella mushrooms, new potatoes and eggplant. The smell sooo nice when they are grilling, just cut them in half leave the skins on and grill for a couple of hours or so.

  4. dstr, great looking pizza and I'm sure it tasted great also. I must try my baking steel for my next pizza. That was a nice mix of ingredients.

  6. HalfSmoke, you are indeed safe to wind up for a rotisserie cook. Only 1 spring maybe needed if any, I do use mine, the others are spares in case you loose one.
  7. I hope you find them. Truthfully I can't get enough of them. I have a small stash in my freezer. The last time I was there they only had mild Italian.:(
  8. Leftover KK sausages for lunch. Homemade buns, hot pepper relish, cheese and onions toppings.

  11. It is a sad day here in the Maritimes, the end of the yellow bean season. :(:(:( Picked the last of the crop for this year and just had to cook them for dinner along with new potatoes and spicy cheese sausage.

  16. Thanks, guys. I have friend in Halifax, NS that has a craft brewery and I like his beer as much as Guinness. It is smooth and flavourful, Awesome stuff.:)
  17. Thanks, Stile. I shall never forget the Guinness beer that I had in Ireland, it was over the top. I had it at every meal except breakfast, I was too embarrassed to have it them. The taste was phenomenal.

  20. Second one of the season. This time I used a pie crust that I had in the freezer. It is raining, it is pour down rain, the old man is sleeping, I don't care, I have a beer. I hope you have noticed that the king of beers matches my KK. gold and black and bubbles that match the pebbles. I'm sitting in my ODK and having a grand time while the tomato galette bakes. The skies are clearing- It is going to be a beautiful day tomorrow.:) Plated.
  21. Stile, remember you have much more mass to heat up but once it's up to temp. I bet you'd use less lump to keep it at that temp.:)
