I have enough bacon to last until the next batch of cold weather in the fall. :)

Absolutely fantastic looking breakfast Mac!

What camera do you use for your pics? I’ve got an EOS 550d SLR that I’m too lazy to use when my iPhone is in my pocket, but the pics you post are always amazing quality.

I hear you alimac, I have a honking big Nikon SLR with a huge glass lens that I am too lazy to bring out and I use my little Lumix that is getting old but it has a Leica lens.

I've found the biggest factor for stunning pictures is lighting. It's the difference between an awesome picture and a good picture. That pretty much holds true regardless of camera.

A decent camera with great lighting will produce better pictures compared to a super high end camera with crappy lighting.

Meaty bacon!  Light is a factor most definitely but the mega pixel determines resolution. The higher the resolution # such as a 12 determines the clarity as your picture size is enlarged. A 5 megapixel photo would become fuzzy as it's enlarged as opposed to a higher pixel camera, meaning the distance between the pixels are spreading. Same can be said with TV's, todays 1180 lines of resolution vs the older generation of 720's

I had a craving for mac & cheese yesterday so I got out 3 different cheese, 2 different cheddar's and one Monterey Jack with peppers.

One of the cheeses had an advantage as I had previously smoked it.:) Then I had some chicken wings thawing and thought they go with mac & cheese, tons of comfort food. This has nothing to do with the miserable weather we have had for day, even snow the night before.

Mac & Cheese ready for the oven.

Wings coated with corn starch and potato flour, ready for the air fryer.

Wings are ready.

It's 90F here right now! I ate dinner on the deck hoping it was cooler outside the house - Nope! Crazy hot for this time of year here. T-storms tonight, rain all day tomorrow with a high of 64F - more normal for mid-May.

Those wings and Mac&Cheese look great. btw.

You had me with the wings without throwing in the mac n cheese Mac.  Breakfast here is going to be larger than it should be as a result of your "intervention"!

Peruvian’ish Dizzy Chook underway. Made a marinade of lime juice, garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Let that sit under the skin for an hour, then a heavy coat of Dizzy Pig Peruvianish. Spinning with a bit of apple wood. To be served with a homemade spicy mayo.

My add-on for tonight - Celebration steak dinner. I won 1st Place in Best of Show in a sanctioned homebrew competition today. Also took a 3rd Place in Best of Show for another beer. So, it was a very good day!! :smt041

Costco Prime Ribeye Cap with blue cheese mushroom sauce, melting potatoes cooked in duck fat and a nice Greek salad. A simple nice red wine, as I had sampled a few of the beers after the judging. We call it "Drinking the losers!" :occasion5:
