MacKenzie
@Tekobo, you are lucky I'm not there, I'd have devoured that in the blink of an eye.

C6Bill
The duck was eaten as an appetizer, they ate it as fast as i could slice it lol And of course all veggies/tomatoes were garden fresh
David Chang
smoked bacon and coffee day i actually don't know if i'm doing a good job roasting these coffees. i feel like this is the best i can do on this setup and getting repeatable consistency is not going to be possible. nope, i am not getting a tabletop sample roaster..😅

Lot of benefits this year: 1) All the kernels formed. Last year's were very patchy. 2)No critters got to them before I did. 3) I live a long way from Mac so I can eat them at my leisure. That said, I wouldn't mind living closer to @C6Bill although it does sound like he is very busy with his lady friend a lot of the time and wouldn't have much time for hungry BBQ buddies like us.
MacKenzie
Speaking of corn on the cob and my stomach that is a bottomless pit for fresh corn on the cob - I need to find out when the next delivery from the farmer is so I can get it as fresh as possible. After 3 days 50% of the sugar in the corn has turned to starch seriously changing the taste and it also makes the corn tougher. From on the stock to pot asap is my motto for corn on the cob. MacKenzie
Did some chicken drumsticks on the KK, and roasted some previously boiled potatoes. Served with the tail end of the yellow beans for this year and some Egyptian onions. Edited August 14, 2022 by MacKenzie

Aussie Ora
Thought I would reverse sear a ribeye and inject a 5+ Tri Tip with some plum sauce to cook tomorrow Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
Troble
Great cooks everyone! @MacKenzie i much prefer to cook my corn in the husk on the grill with some smoke vs. boiling
MacKenzie
Did burgers on the KK last evening and turned them into cheeseburgers with chips. Getting dressed. Melted the cheese in the WFO. Plated with chips. Homemade buns but store bought chips. There was one burger leftover and no buns. Decided to have a burger sub for lunch,
Tyrus
Made this potato side for tomorrow nights guest, it's grated potato, zucchini, cheese, parsley, broccoli, dill, chive egg and kielbasa...with a cherry tomatoe on top. To be served with a cucumber sour cream dilled dressing. Here's a pic, one batch on the 23 with a half basket and the remaining on another. MacKenzie
While I was busy tending my KK a couple of months ago my squirrels planted these for me. I knew there was a good reason why I feed them. What a day it was today and another one tomorrow. Here's where it got the seeds I think. 2
